Inaugural collegiate season

2026–27 season hub

The inaugural Black Cat Esports season gives colleges a 15-game calendar running from September 2026 through May 2027. Each competition has its own schedule, standings, and championship.

No league-wide spring-break blackout; each school submits one spring-break week for a bye.

How the season is organized

Official play runs Monday through Friday, normally at 5 PM PT. Each game has a dedicated competition night. When entry counts require regional conferences, conference champions and published at-large qualifiers advance to the Black Cat championship bracket.

Team pricing

Each approved team is $100 for the full academic-year season. Schools may enter one team or any number of additional teams across the game lineup. Regular season, conference championship where used, and Black Cat championship participation are included.

Operational standard

Every team receives a verified roster record, a published schedule, an assigned competition path, match support, official results and standings, stated tiebreakers, dispute and appeal procedures, and an archived season record.
