Collegiate competition with a clear standard
Black Cat Esports operates a 2026–27 collegiate esports season for colleges and universities in the United States and Canada. Programs may enter any of the 15 published competitions they are prepared to support.
Black Cat Esports runs a 2026–27 collegiate season with 15 game competitions. Each competition has its own playing day, regular season, conference championship, and league playoff window, while every school follows the same handbook and conduct standards.
The season is open to colleges and universities in the United States and Canada. A program may begin with one roster or enter several titles; each roster is reviewed independently before it is scheduled.
The website is the official record for schedules, roster approvals, results, rulings, and rule revisions. Discord is used for announcements and match coordination, but a message or role in Discord never replaces the published league record.
The season calendar, handbook, game rules, eligibility standard, match procedures, championship path, and program-readiness checklist are published. Material changes receive a dated version notice so schools can plan against a stable record.
Each $100 team entry supports registration review, conference placement, constraint-aware scheduling, match coordination, score confirmation, standings, championship administration, rules maintenance, disputes and appeals, safety escalation, and a durable public season record.
A school may enter one team or build a larger slate across the 15 competitions. There is no school-wide team cap. Each title roster—including Varsity, JV, Academy, A, or B teams in the same game—is registered and administered as a separate $100 team entry.
Review the director readiness guide, compare the 15 competitions, and identify one institutional contact, one competition contact, and a captain for each roster. Corrections to dates, title details, or league policy can be submitted through Contact and Support.
